MEET TUCKER, TANNER & MADDY

Madison's dad is International/ AM CH. Audley Farm's Family Jules.

We fell in love with the breed a number of years ago and began our commitment when we got "Tanner" from Spiller Mastiffs.  Our family has since expanded with the arrival of "Miss Madison" and I must say, the house has not been the same.

Both Tanner and Maddy are from champion bloodlines.  Tanner's parents are CH. Sheila of Audley and CH. Audley Farms One Night Stan.  Maddy's dad "International/ AM CH. Audley Farms Family Jules was awarded AKC Top Producing Sire of 2008, having produced more Champions in the year than any other mastiff (with limited outside preedings).  With bloodlines like this, their offspring are bound to be winners!

It is our hope to have the name "Blue Mountain Mastiffs" synonymous with "Quality and Dedication" to Old English Mastiffs.  We continue to work hard toward that goal.

Last year we took the first steps towards our long term goal.  Madison and Tanner became the parents of two healthy babies.  "Tucker" is the newest mastiff to join Blue Mountian.  He posses wonderful physical  attributes as well as "personality."

This year, Tanner and Madison again became the parents of five beautiful, healthy pups!

Tanner loves the show ring and we have formed a great partnership, learning as we go.  I've had the opportunity to meet and learn from other mastiff owners along the way.

In the same spirit of sharing, we are happy to share our experiences and things we have learned with others who have the love, desire and dedication toward these wonderful, gentle giants.

If you have any questions about our puppies, or training, handling and breeding services for your mastiff give us a call.

                             ABOUT THE BREED

Today's mastiffs are giant slobbery household pets, commonly referred to as "Gentle Giants."  Although they are known for gentleness and to be somewhat of a couch potato, the history of the breed tells us that they were originally utilized as working dogs.  The breed was also utilized for fighting in warfare, hunting, and for protecting the home. Largely because of the mastiff's large, powerful frame.  Male mastiffs can weigh from 155 to well over 200 lbs and stand 30 in high at the shoulders. Females are slightly smaller in stature and weight.  Because of their very large size, our goal is to breed only mild tempered mastiffs.  We'll be happy to give you training tips as well.

                                              Warning!

If you are considering owning an English Mastiff, you should consider their size and amount of care they require.  Masitffs are wonderful companions and family members; however we must advise, mastiffs are not for everyone!  They are VERY LARGE, grow quickly and require LOTS of love, attention and care.  Health care expenses need to be consideres as well.  If you are looking for a "pet", we highly recommend you select a breed other than a mastiff.  Mastiffs are members of the family and expect to enjoy the same space and furnishings of the home that you do.  Yes, that means "your" bed, sofa, and even your favorite chair.  For the most part, they go where you go.  We recommend a visit to the "Mastiff Club of America" website to help you decide if a mastiff is right for you.
